how to disable usb ports

Many virus or malwares find their way to enter your computer through USB Pen Drives so if next time if your friend gave you pen drive then foll back him by telling your USB port is not working and add security to your computer or laptop by disabling USB port!!

Go to StartRun – Type regedit and hit ENTER

Now Navigate to the below path
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\UsbStor

Double Click on “Start” which is On right hand side panel

Enter “4” in “Value Data” and click “OK”

Exit Registry Editor and Restart you Computer.
